St. Samuel's exhibition -- Remembering The Future. This series is an exploration of time, portals, and stories of the celestial rebels who travel through them. Through fabric, wood and paint, the essences of all of the above are expressed, seen and felt.

St. Samuel also know as Lydi, is a self taught D.C. based artist who started painting in 2012. Her journey starts in Seattle where she became fascinated by the images, symbols, characters and storylines of dream worlds she found herself exploring. Lydi turned to playing music and painting as a means of expression. Eventually she found herself committing to the brush. Lydi 's inspired by the sates of existence one can experience here on earth, the essence of a person-- their soul; understanding the space and beauty in which the creators came from when they created us.

Lydi's paintings have strong elements of empowered feminine energy, mysticism, and beauty. Her style is examples versitility, pulling from different periods of her life and incorporating as many different mediums as possible including oil, gouache, acrylic, watercolors and spray paint.
