Eight Ball Ellis

DMV artist, Ellis Ill, drops 8 Ball Ellis and lemme just say chileeeee, this one took me on a rollercoaster. Drawing influences from UGK, 36Mafia, Noreaga, Big Pun, Isley Brother's, Barrington Levy, Gil Scott Heron and many more, Ellis Ill doesn't just fit in one box. A father of one, Ellis Ill takes pride in his many influences and how he uses the music he grew up on (including salsa, merengue, bachata) to tell a new story. Ellis Ill's energy is contagious and commands reaction in the rawness of his sound.

8 Ball Ellis dropped February 2021 and this tape reflects the evolution of the pain, passion, frustrations and love that Ellis Ill puts into his life and music.
